Church Hill Edinburgh

Alco Beldan is pleased to show one of their latest projects in conjunction with Kenneth Reid Architects. This substantial stone dwelling in Edinburgh was looking for an extension to the kitchen and in its owner’s words .....” to die for”. A stainless steel clad extension with inserts into the existing kitchen space helps to fuse the outside to in effect. Substantial light from the South facing aspect is enjoyed with this unique overall design.

Liverpool Convention Centre Opens Its Doors in Variety of Ways

Alco Beldan is pleased to announce the completion of one of the largest projects in Acoustic Movable Walls.

The £1.1million project for the Liverpool Convention Centre to supply 340 panels, constructing a total of 34 separate walls ranging from 3 to 20 panels per wall were fitted across a total area of 2,400 sqm.

Ten independent stacking areas are served by 1km of track including main runs and transfer tracks.

Luxury Beach House

This recently completed house is a one off. Architecturally designed, it is situated on the South Coast facing the beach and sea

The window frames used were stained hardwood selected to withstand extreme marine conditions imperative for this location

Alco Beldan ASL 66 Sliding Folding Doors were installed on the elevation facing the sea.

The complete glazing package comprises of tilt/turn windows, fixed glazing and high level electric vents

La Bodega Captures the Sunlight With New Conservatory

La Bodega in Hart Street, Henley- on-Thames was looking to extend into the attractive rear of the premises. Before constructing a traditional brick built structure, Alco Beldan was asked to look into a way of joining all the aspects to obtain an open structure. The result was a bespoke steel framed conservatory specially designed to accommodate air conditioning units and lighting to ensure maximum comfort for their patrons.

Prestigious residence, St. George's Hill, Surrey

A luxury home featuring a selection of Specialist Glazed Systems from the Alco Beldan range. Within the pool area a large channel set, frameless double glazed unit is fitted at the pool end with three windows to the side.

University of Essex, Colchester

Alco Beldan have been involved in BSF projects from the earliest days of the programme, working with top Contractors and Architects, on more than 10 Local Authority schemes totalling in excess of 500 movable walls. With many individual projects complete our walls are now being used in classrooms, multi-use halls, drama studios, music rooms and auditoriums resulting in fantastic feedback from both teaching and facilities management staff.

Swaminarayan Hindu Temple – Neasden, London

Internationally recognised as one of the most ornate buildings of the world, the Swaminarayan Hindu Temple, in North London has used AlcoBeldan NW100 Movable Walls to acoustically divide the Prayer Hall.

The Celtic Manor Resort – Newport, Gwent

There cannot be many in the independent hotel sector that haven’t heard of the rebuilding of the Celtic Manor Hotel. Travellers along the M4 corridor at this gateway into Wales cannot miss this magnificent hotel which sits in an imposing position high on a hill overlooking the motorway and which has been selected to host the Ryder Cup in 2009.

Shaw Park Plaza – London

This project is interesting because it is on the site of the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, part of which has been incorporated into the scheme. The movable wall in the main function area is 4,300mm high and has a sound reduction rating of Rw 53dB. The panel finish on our walls complement and match the structural walls around the rest of the room
